Game Cancellation Details

Game cancellations will be made and posted on the web site by 7:30 am on Saturday mornings during the season. Please check the web site before coming to the game if there is inclement weather or there was inclement weather the night before. If there is no posting on the web site the games are expected to be played. The referee may suspend or cancel games for the safety of the players and spectators alike if a thunder storm comes through the area during play time. If this happens your support of the referees decision is fully expected.

Good Sportsmanship

It is imperative that coaches and parents exhibit good sportsmanship. These games are not about winning or loosing it is about having fun. Parents and coaches alike should be praising all players from either team for their efforts.

All players should be playing clean games and there are no slide tackles permitted in the Intown program. If you have a player that can execute a legal slide tackle they should be playing in the competitive program.

At all ages, any team falling behind by five goals will be allowed to add an additional player on the field. The team may keep this additional player on the field as long as the goal differential is five or greater. If it drops below five the team must remove the additional player from the field. Coaches with a large lead should also take steps to avoid a large differential.
